A CASE OF THYROTOXIC CRISIS

Abstract

|
|
A case of hyperthyroidism in a 25-year old woman, who was admitted with complaints of high fever, unconsciousness and intermittent convulsion, was reported. She was successfully treated with a large dose of cortisone, sodium iodide and antithyroid drugs. A brief review of the pertinent literatures was also made.
